New-possession homes in west Pune, planned before the carpenters arrive
Baner, Balewadi, Wakad, Hinjewadi, Punawale and Tathawade have filled with new towers, and most of the homes we see there are bare-shell or builder-finish flats. That is the best moment to plan: before the wardrobes are ordered, we check where the light comes in, where a work-from-home desk fits, how the balcony can be used and where storage can be built in rather than added later. Then the joinery, lighting and finishes are designed around that plan, so the home works on day one.
Older Pune homes and bungalows, reworked for today
Central Pune, from Swargate and the peths to Sahakar Nagar and Parvati, is full of homes that have served a family for decades. They usually have sound structure but tired wiring and plumbing, closed kitchens and rooms that no longer match how the family lives. House of Hues, our 2,500 sq ft bungalow renovation in Sahakar Nagar, is a good example: services renewed, the plan opened up, and five family members' tastes brought into one home. Renovation is where an architect-led approach makes the clearest difference.

For a 3BHK, turnkey interiors typically run ₹25–35 lakh at a premium finish; a 4BHK or penthouse ₹48–70 lakh, and a villa or bungalow ₹70 lakh to ₹1.5 crore. New-possession flats in west Pune usually need little civil work, so more of the budget goes into joinery and finishes. Older homes and bungalows cost more behind the walls. You get a fixed, itemised quote after a site visit.

Yes. House of Hues, a 40-year-old 2,500 sq ft bungalow in Sahakar Nagar, is one of ours: re-planned and finished for a five-member family. Older Pune homes usually need services renewed and the plan reworked before any finishing, which is where an architect-led team earns its fee.
